New domain!

Post by Richard »

Because the .guitars TLD registrar has significantly increased the cost of the annual domain registration, I will be changing the Heartfield site URL from www.heartfield.guitars to www.heartfield.gallery. Expect that to happen within the next few days. The heartfield.guitars domain will forward to heartfield.gallery until the .guitars domain expires. So if you made a bookmark, plz update it.

I will post here once it's done.

And it's done! The forward from heartfield.guitars to heartfield.gallery will function until 28 October 2026.

If you notice any odd/different behaviour on the site or in this forum, plz let me know.

The email link at the top of the Serial Number Database page is still inop, as it was on the old site. Fill out the fields and click send, and you get a flag that says "You did not get here from one of my pages. Better luck next time."

I was trying to send a messaage to let you know DR5-C J91986 is for sale on ebay.

I encountered two brothers locally who have an Elan III and an EX-2 they've had since about the time I bought my EX-2 way back in 1989 and they tried to submit pics and serials to your database but did not have any luck. I think that update debacle back in 2017 borked something. At any rate...
